In addition to an outstanding program, Seton Catholic School also offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities to its students. Recitals, Christmas, and Spring programs, Art show, give the boys and girls the opportunity to showcase their talents.

Individual and group lessons range from piano, and wind instruments, Jr. Great Books, Passport Club, water colors, chess, Girl Scouts (K-3), and Boy Scouts. Boys and Girls Basketball for 3-4, 5-6, as well as Boys and Girls Soccer for Grades 5-6 enable students to acquire skills and self confidence. Seton also has a Running Club for interested students in grades 3-6

Parents will be notified by school personnel of any extracurricular activity which takes place after regular school hours or on weekends. Any such activities that take place without previous notification from the principal are NOT school sponsored.

Parents must arrange for rides to and from the scheduled activity. Children are to be picked up by parents/guardians or designated person at the specified time. If children are picked up late (in excess of 30 minutes) more than three times, parents will be billed $1.00 for each minute late.

Classes begin at 8:15 am with dismissal at 2:15 pm. When there is an early dismissal - as noted on the school calendar - the bell rings at 11:10 a.m. and buses depart at 11:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m..

K-6 children being driven to school are to arrive after 7:40 a.m.
Available for any school-age child attending Seton Catholic School.

Seton Catholic School Extended Day Program is structured in a way that allows the children to participate in a variety of activities - outside play, board games, homework time, arts and crafts, cooking, field trips, quiet reading and gym activities.

An afternoon snack and beverage is provided each day the children attend the program.

The Seton Extended Program is located downstairs in the artroom.

To register in the program, a registration packet must be completed, signed, and submitted with a $25 non-refundable registration fee, plus the first week's extended day payment.

Any school-age child, entering grades 1-6, can attend Seton Summer Fun Days.

This eight week summer program begins June 18 and ends August 10. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Seton Camp will be located at Seton Catholic School. Brochures will be available early spring.

This program offers a variety of activities including: outdoor sports, arts and crafts projects, cooking, hiking, group games, science exploration etc. Weekly field trips to attractions in and around Rochester are scheduled - (e.g. museums, local and state parks, nature center, area businesses, etc.) More in depth theme exploration is developed around areas such as: athletics, puppetry, art/movement/music, drama, environmental/nature awareness, etc.
